Butterfield shares slip 1.7% in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.92 of a point for the week
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained unchanged on 3,745.99 today in the absence of trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
For the week, the index slipped 0.92 of a point, with Watlington Waterworks (down 4.4 per cent), and Allshores (up 0.4 per cent) the only stocks to trade.
BSX trading volume for the five days of trade was 3,000 shares and turnover totalled $99,935.
Meanwhile, the US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank fell $1.07, or 1.71 per cent, to close at $61.37 on the New York Stock Exchange on the trading of 108,470 shares.
