Vineyard Vines marks decade on Front Street
Vineyard Vines Bermuda has marked its tenth anniversary, celebrating a decade in business at its distinctive pink store on Front Street.
Customers, business partners and community members attended a private anniversary event at the Hamilton shop, which opened in 2016.
The location is the American clothing brand’s only stand-alone retail store outside the United States.
Since becoming part of The Waterfront Group of Companies in 2020, the store has expanded its local partnerships and community involvement. Those efforts have included collaborations with Bermudian golfer Camiko Smith and sailor Sebastian Kempe.
Somers Cooper, general merchandise manager, said: “Celebrating ten years in Bermuda is an incredible milestone for us.
“We’re grateful to every customer, partner and team member who has supported us along the way.
“‘Every day should feel this good’ has always been at the heart of the Vineyard Vines brand, and this celebration was our opportunity to share that spirit while thanking everyone who has been part of our journey. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”
Arielle Falcao, the store manager, has worked at Vineyard Vines Bermuda since it opened.
She said: “It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch the store become part of the community over the past ten years.
“We’ve built lasting relationships with so many of our customers, and seeing familiar faces return year after year is what makes this store so special. I’m proud to have been part of the journey from the very beginning.”
The store also celebrated its charitable work during the anniversary festivities.
Through an annual holiday gift-box initiative, it donates all proceeds to local charities. The most recent beneficiary was Compassionate Care Partners in support of Agape House. Vineyard Vines Bermuda also supports the annual End-to-End by donating prizes to its fundraising efforts.
The anniversary celebrations will continue through July 25 with a customer giveaway. Shoppers who spend more than $125 in the store will be entered to win prizes including two return tickets to Boston with BermudAir, a Yeti cooler and a Vineyard Vines gift card.
A limited-edition collection of anniversary T-shirts is also available. One features the Bermuda flag version of the brand’s whale logo, while another depicts its pink Front Street storefront.
