Cup Match garbage collection announced

Government has announced a revised garbage schedule that will be in place over Cup Match.
During the annual holiday this Thursday and Friday, household waste normally collected on those days will instead be collected on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said the Tynes Bay Waste-to-Energy Facility public drop-off will be open from 9am to noon during both days — Emancipation Day and Mary Prince Day — to receive household waste, recycling and bulky items.
Regular operating hours of 7am to 7pm will resume on Saturday.
