Traffic disruption can be expected when the Bacchanal Run takes place on Saturday, the Ministry of Public Works warned.

The post-Cup Match event will start on Frog Lane in Pembroke and travel along Palmetto Road, Marsh Folly Road and Dutton Avenue before ending on Bernard Park Field.

Dutton Avenue will be closed to traffic from 9pm to midnight.

Area residents were encouraged to follow instructions from police officers and traffic marshals who will guide traffic during the event.

Motorists were asked to avoid the streets where participants would be travelling, though parking will be allowed at designated bays along the route.

Motorists cannot block event routes or impede participants.
