Essential inspections of a fuel transmission line will affect traffic in Hamilton Parish from today, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said.
The ministry said the lane closure on North Shore Road near Crawl Hill, Hamilton Parish, will run through August 10, daily from 7.30am to 6pm.
The lane closure is to facilitate the inspection of an existing fuel transmission line that delivers fuel from SOL to Belco.
Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area and are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly.
Island Construction representatives will manage traffic using stop-and-go signs and, where necessary, temporary traffic lights.
The ministry thanked the public for its patience and co-operation while the works are carried out.
