Man denies firearm, ammunition charges

A man will reappear in the Supreme Court this year after denying three firearms-related charges.

Khyle Beckett, 39, pleaded not guilty in the Supreme Court to possession of a 9mm Uzi submachine gun and possession of a 9mm pistol.

He also pleaded not guilty to possession of two rounds of ammunition.

All three counts were alleged to have happened on December 12 last year.

Puisne Judge Alan Richards adjourned the case until October 9 and extended Mr Beckett’s bail.
