Youth Entrepreneur Expo to take place on City Hall lawn
Budding business owners will display their products and services at a free exhibition this weekend.
The Youth Entrepreneur Expo, hosted by the Office of Youth Affairs, will showcase businesses from children as young as nine along the City Hall lawn.
It will celebrate International Youth Day, which takes place annually on August 12.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors said the event offered a chance to meet young business owners and buy their handcrafted items, which include artwork, food and beauty products.
She added: “The Youth Entrepreneur Expo celebrates the innovation and determination of Bermuda’s youth while providing a platform for them to gain valuable business experience, engage with the community and grow their enterprises.
“By supporting these young business owners, members of the public are investing in the future of Bermuda’s economy and encouraging the next generation of leaders.
“Whether you’re looking to discover unique products, enjoy local treats or simply be inspired by the ingenuity of Bermuda’s young business owners, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”
The expo will take place on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
