No traffic will be allowed along part of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus tomorrow morning.

The Bermuda Hospitals Board advised that no through access will be permitted between Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road between 7.30am and noon.

A spokeswoman said: “The closure is necessary to facilitate the delivery of metal rods for internal upgrade works in the Imaging Services Department.”

Vehicular access at Point Finger Road will end at the hospital’s acute care wing visitor parking lot and ambulance bays, and Berry Hill Road access will end at the general wing entrance.

The spokeswoman concluded: “The areas will be cordoned off. Please observe erected barriers and directions from personnel on-site.

“BHB apologises for any inconvenience this may cause the public.”
