Smooth sailing for Endeavour as supporters continue backing
The Endeavour youth sailing programme, which reached 518 students from 15 schools across the island during the 2025-26 school year, has announced the renewed backing of its corporate supporters.
The educational charity is being supported for another three years by the professional services firm PwC Bermuda, with the insurer and reinsurer L & F Holdings Limited.
Jennifer Pitcher, the executive director of Endeavour, said PwC had championed Endeavour’s mission since its beginning in 2015 — enabling the programme to provide free access to learning on the water to more than 9,000 young people from 31 schools in the years since.
It marked the first exposure to sailing for three quarters of students.
The programme welcomed PwC Bermuda team members to Dockyard for its annual community day as part of the Endeavour graduate summer programme, pairing them with its young sailors for a memorable day on and off the water.
Scott Watson-Brown, a partner at PwC, said their “enthusiasm, confidence and teamwork” showed the value of the firm’s commitment.
