Works to affect traffic at hospital on Sunday
No traffic will be allowed along part of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus for two hours on Sunday afternoon.
The Bermuda Hospitals Board said traffic will not be allowed between Point Finger and Berry Hill roads from 4pm to 6pm.
The closure is to facilitate the clearance of materials for upgrade works in the hospital’s Imaging Services Department.
Vehicular access from Point Finger Road will end at the Acute Care Wing visitor parking lot and ambulance bay areas.
Access via the Berry Hill Road entrance will end at the hospital’s General Wing entrance.
A spokeswoman said the affected areas will be cordoned off, and motorists were urged to observe erected barriers and directions from personnel on site.
The BHB apologised for any inconvenience because of the closure.
