Chef Paul Carmichael at The Loren
The Loren Hotel invites the community to close out its 2026 guest chef series with chef Paul Carmichael, the visionary chef behind the critically acclaimed Kabawa in Manhattan, New York City, and former executive chef of Momofuku Seiobo, one of the world's most celebrated dining destinations, in Sydney, Australia. A leading voice in contemporary Caribbean cuisine, Chef Carmichael brings a deeply personal and immersive approach rooted in his Barbadian heritage. Presenting an evening of dining on Saturday night, the guest chef series will culminate on Sunday with a cooking demonstration at 11am, led by Chef Carmichael.

Safari-Afrobeats at BAMZ
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo an immersive experience combining music and nature will be held this weekend. For one night only guests can enjoy BAMZ after dark. Presented by Soweto Underground, local and international artists such as Playbwoy Sound, Dat Bie Dez, The Godbrothers and Kinya from Kenya will perform throughout the entire BAMZ facility. Different zones will feature different music such as afrobeats and amapiano. Attendees can walk around the facility, view the animals, exhibits, enjoy food and drinks, and explore pop ups from various vendors.

Summer Send-Off
As the summer season comes to an end, enjoy one last summer bash at Snorkel Park Beach Club with their ultimate Summer Send Off. The evening will feature a variety of music styles and genres performed live from artists such as DJ Rusty G, YGS, Fire Blacks and Markie T. The event promises to be a night packed with non-stop energy.

Friday, September 11
The After-Party
The After-Party celebrates all things 1990s and 2000s including the music and energy that defined the era. The event invites attendees to embrace the throwback clothing, the songs and the moves. Music will be provided by artists such as Mikey B, Mista Genius, DJ Scoobay and King Jyrus. A special appearance and live performance from artist Shyne will be one of the highlights of the evening. Additionally, guests who attend the BIU Labour Day Banquet have free admission to The After-Party.
