Butterfield and Allshores trade on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 5.76 points

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 5.76 points, or 0.15 per cent today, to close on 3,758.34, as shares of Butterfield Bank and Allshores traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Butterfield dipped ten cents, or 0.2 per cent, to close at $58.20 on the trading of 2,200 shares. Insurer Allshores remained unchanged on $27.60 as 745 shares changed hands.

BSX Friday turnover was $148,589.75, while trading volume was 2,945 shares.

For the week, the index inched 0.12 of a point higher, as Allshores advanced 2.2 per cent and Butterfield fell 0.2 per cent.

BSX turnover for the trading week was $180,329.75 on volume totalling 4,095 shares.

Meanwhile, Butterfield’s US-listed shares climbed 12 cents, or 0.2 per cent, to close at $59.31 on the New York Stock Exchange on the trading of 133,904 shares.
