A Hamilton Parish man has been accused in Magistrates’ Court of committing three sexual acts against a girl under the age of 16.

The defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, denied the offences when he appeared in court yesterday.

The 22-year-old allegedly committed two acts involving the victim, who also cannot be named, on an unknown date in September 2025 and the third offence on November 18.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to November 2 and released the accused on $5,000 bail.

He was ordered not to contact the alleged victim and report to Hamilton Police Station every Friday.
