Weather scuppers Bermuda’s double-header against Bahamas

Poor weather again today prohibited play during the North America Cup, currently taking place in Cayman Islands.
A scheduled double-header between Bermuda and Bahamas was abandoned due to a wet pitch caused by persistent rain.
The pair of no results allowed the host country to finish first in the round-robin phase of the competition, thus gaining automatic passage through to Sunday’s final.
Bermuda, the second-placed team, will now have to play Bahamas — the third seed — tomorrow, with the winner qualifying for the final.
