A woman is being treated in hospital after being involved in a single-vehicle crash on Harrington Sound Road this morning.

The incident happened near the junction of Palmetto Vale, in Smith’s and traffic was being diverted.

A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “The female driver has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

“Police are processing the scene and traffic is being diverted over Knapton Hill and Harrington Hundreds Road.

“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and exercise caution when travelling in the area.”
