Bermudian-based Arch Reinsurance Group announced that Matthew Dragonetti, president of Arch Re Ltd will retire, effective March 2027, after 25 years with the company.

“Matt has been an important part of Arch’s success over the past 25 years, and we are incredibly grateful for his leadership and contributions,” said Jerome Halgan, CEO of Arch Global Reinsurance Group.

“He embodies our culture and has been relentless in helping Arch Re on its commitment to consistently deliver meaningful value to its clients. Matt will be dearly missed. We wish him the best and are happy his retirement will allow him to spend more time with his family.”

Mr Dragonetti was one of the first employees to join Arch Re in 2001, starting as a senior US property treaty underwriter, and held a series of leadership positions of increasing responsibility leading to his current role.

“I’m tremendously proud of all that we have accomplished together,” said Mr Dragonetti. “It has been a privilege to work alongside such talented colleagues and to help build the business over the past 25 years. I’m grateful for the relationships I’ve developed throughout my time at Arch and have every confidence in the team’s continued success.”
