Man accused of Southampton killing
A man accused of murder has been remanded into custody until December.
Tahva Virgil, 32, was charged with murdering Lindley Scott Jr when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court today.
Mr Virgil was not required to enter a plea to the offence, which he allegedly committed in Southampton on October 15, as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Craig Attridge sent the case to the December arraignments and remanded Mr Vigil, from Southampton, into custody until that time.
Mr Scott, 39, lost his life after an incident at Southampton Rangers Sports Club last week.
The father of four had worked in security and had been involved in coaching young people through the Mirrors Programme.
