A Pembroke business’s first art exhibition features pieces from 30 local artists. A statement said ESC Ltd opened The Art of Framing in its upper showroom at 4 Mill Creek Road last Friday. Each piece in the exhibition, which will be on display until November 30, is placed in unique frames designed by ESC framing designers and assembled by the business’s framers.

The statement added: “The idea behind the show is twofold: to highlight the range of framing options available locally and to support the island's art community.”

Participating artists include Graham Foster, Shanna Hollis, Nhuri Bashir and Andrea Ottley, while several ESC staff members also submitted works for the exhibition curated by one of the business’s frame designers, Sophia Tessitore.

Ms Tessitore said: “I’m honoured to have worked alongside so many incredible artists through ESC, and we’re happy to provide such an essential service to our creative community.

“This exhibition is a way to celebrate both Bermuda art and the skill and artistry inherent in framing.”

Paige Eversley and Keely Horsfall, ESC staff members who previously worked at Frameworks Ltd, said: “We had so much fun designing this show with our colleagues, but we would like to shout out our framers — their craftsmanship, expertise, creative input and patience are what made this show outstanding.”

The exhibition is free to members of the public, but each piece will be for sale and proceeds will go towards launching an arts scholarship in 2027.

• Members of the public can view the exhibition at ESC Bermuda, 4 Mill Creek Road, Pembroke, from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays. Pieces and pricing can also be viewed viaescbermuda.com
