A government financial advisory body will be exempted from public access to information laws if legislation tabled in the House of Assembly yesterday is approved.
The amendment to exclude the Financial Policy Council from Pati was brought to the House by Wayne Furbert, above, the Cabinet Office minister.
The council was created in 2015 as a public authority to monitor potential risks to the island’s economy and to advise the Government on financial stability.
