Telecommunications services firm TeleBermuda International Ltd has moved its payment and customer care centre to the Washington Mall on Church Street, across from the bus terminal.

Its sister company, Bluewave, a wireless internet service provider, will share the premises.

TBi was previously based in an office on Victoria Street.

Nick Faries, chief executive officer of TBi and Bluewave, said: “This move to Washington Mall allowed us to customise a space that would suit both TBi and Bluewave.

“The goal is to ensure that TBi continues to provide the highest level of service to their clients, and Bluewave has an opportunity for face-to-face interaction with their valued customers.

“This new payment and customer care centre also provides the chance to include back offices for the TBi, Bluewave commercial sales team.

“This facility would not have been possible without the hard work of our contractor Jose Torres, our architect OBM International, AAC Saatchi and Saatchi, Bermuda BluePrinting, Decisions and many skilled tradesmen, too numerous to mention.”

Walter Roban, the minister responsible for The Regulatory Authority, which regulates the telecommunications sector, will to cut the ribbon at the official opening on Monday, December 3 at 11:15am.

A TBi staff member will be on site at the company’s former office on Thursday and Friday this week to redirect customers to the new location.

All customers received an e-mail notification, and the December bills will contain a message about the new address of the payment and customer care centre.
