Health campaign kicks off

The Department of Health hosted its Commit to Change event yesterday as the island marks Public Health Week.

The event at City Hall is part of a series of activities to promote healthy lifestyles during Public Health Week.

It featured free health screenings and other health related activities, food and prizes.

Kim Wilson, the Minister of Health, was on hand to present the Public Health Awards.

The event will be followed by the Energize Wellness Soca Sweat in Barr’s Part at 12.30pm today.

And Bermuda Heart Foundation will also be hosting its Boasty Fun Family Mystery Walk and Fundraiser this evening.

The event will start at CORE Heart Health Centre on Front Street at 6pm.
