Shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent company of The Royal Gazette, were down nine cents, or 1.5 per cent, to $6.11 after 2,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

And 1,900 shares of BF&M Ltd were exchanged, but with no change to the stock price.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.12 of a point, or 0.01 per cent, at 2,266.8.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down $1.73, or 4.37 per cent, at $37.90.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 14.92 points, or 0.8 per cent, at 1,856.33.
