Butterfield Bank shares jump 4%

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose by 3.05 per cent
Shares of Butterfield Bank improved by $1.50, or 4 per cent, to $39 after 1,550 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. There were no other trades on the local exchange, which was up 67.46 points, or 3.05 per cent, at 2,278.4
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield’s shares were up three cents, or 0.08 per cent, at $39.78.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 15.02 points, of 0.79 per cent, to 1,888.64.
