Shares of Butterfield Bank were up 55 cents, or 1.46 per cent, to $38.15 on the New York Stock Exchange.
However, there were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,1885.35.
The BSX Insurance Index slipped 8.3 points, or 0.44 per cent, to 1,859.15.
