Two Pembroke men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the face when two thugs burst into his apartment.

Police found the 44-year-old Hamilton Parish man at his home in Clearview Apartments, Sandy Lane, Hamilton Parish, bleeding badly from a deep stab wound just below his right eye around 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say the man, who was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, was stabbed following an argument when the men demanded money.

Eastern CID searched the area and found one of the suspects around 10.30 a.m. on Sunday, and a second at around 11 a.m. Inquiries into the stabbing are ongoing.
