Four injured in road crash

One man is in intensive care and three more needed hospital treatment after a crash between a truck and a car last night.

The incident happened at the junction of St John’s Road and Tatems Hill, Pembroke, at about 7.50pm.

This afternoon, police said one of the car passengers, a 22-year-old Pembroke man, was in a stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

A second passenger, a 22-year-old Warwick man, was in a stable condition on a general ward, while the 21-year-old car driver, from Pembroke, was expected to be admitted to a general ward later today.

The truck driver, a 41-year-old man, was treated at hospital and has since been released.
