Drunk drivers caused four accidents over the weekend, a Police spokesman reported yesterday.

"There were six males arrested for driving while impaired and, of the six, three took the alcohol-analyser test and three did not," said Police spokesman Robin Simmons.

"Four of the drunk drivers caused road traffic collisions, as a result of driving under the influence and they ranged in age from 18 to 58."

Also, three men were arrested for being in possession of a controlled drug, and there were 18 reports of break-ins across the Island.

The Police Support Unit made a total of eight arrests over the weekend. Five people were arrested on Friday, and three on Saturday night for outstanding warrants and offensive words.
