A 52-year-old motorcyclist has died after crashing in Pembroke last night.

It happened on Black Watch Pass at around 6.30pm.

According to police, the man was travelling south when it appears that he lost control of his motorcycle and hit the side of the road.

He was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

“No further information will be given until next of kin has been notified,” police said.
