Shares of Somers Limited were the only ones traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

A total of 5,700 shares changed hands, but there was no change to the closing price of $13. Somers earlier in the day announced it had completed the sale of its entire investment in Ascot Lloyd Holdings Ltd, the UK-based independent financial advisers.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,021.93.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Bank of Butterfield shares improved by 72 cents, or 2.11 per cent, to $34.82.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 17.7 points, or 0.92 per cent, at 1,932.04.
