Butterfield shares up 1.25% in New York

Bank of Butterfield shares rose 43 cents, or 1.25 per cent, to $34.91 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained at 2,038.28 after a day of no trading.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 3.42 points, or 0.18 per cent, at 1,914.33.
