Outburst costs man $750

Shane E. Todd, of Club Road, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to breaching the peace, using offensive words, and damaging a telephone on October 27.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor said Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Curving Avenue, Pembroke around 6.30 a.m. and found Todd with the mother of his child.

Todd was shouting obscenities and after he ignored Police warnings to quiet down, he was arrested.

Sgt. Taylor said while talking on the telephone at Hamilton Police Station, Todd slammed the phone down on the counter.

Mrs. Mapp ordered Todd to pay a $350 fine for breaching the peace, $300 for using offensive words, and $100 for damaging the telephone.
