Premier Ewart Brown's new taxpayer-funded cook is due to start at the Premier's luxury private home on October 1.
Cabinet has whittled the applicants down to two candidates who are now set to undergo follow-up interviews for the $60,000 house manager post.
Duties include ensuring housekeeping requirements are kept to the highest standard at Dr. Brown's Gombey House, while an advert in the Bermuda Sun specified the successful applicant must be a "very good cook".
Dr. Brown's previous house manager resigned for family reasons. Bermuda's previous Premier Alex Scott did not hire a house manager, with Cabinet advertising for one shortly after Dr. Brown took over in 2006.
