We're making changes …
The Royal Gazette is committed to continually improving and upgrading our website, and, most importantly, hearing from you about how we can make it better.
As a result, we have a new look Weather page. You can see it
It features a five-day forecast and a host of up to the minute information along with historical data, courtesy of the Weather Underground. The information comes from a host of private weather stations across the Island.
We also have four subcategories:
Storm Watch where you can track all tropical storms around the world,
Earth Watch , which gives you information on worldwide environmental conditions,
Satellite Imagery around Bermuda; and
Marine Forecast forecast from the Bermuda Weather Service.
While the response to the new look website we rolled out this summer was extremely positive, some people felt that the new breaking news ticker moved too slowly, so you might not realize there was more than one breaking news story posted.
As a result, we have now added a control that enables you to click through breaking news headlines … please try it and tell us what you think.
We have also added a feature to our
which enables you to look at them by category. They are also broken up into 12 galleries a page which makes it easier to navigate through them.
Please tell us what you think. You can drop an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your thoughts, and let us know what other improvements you would like to see.
