Group starts meetings to help empower women

An organisation will tonight begin a series of sessions aimed at empowering women.

The L'GIT Empowerment Institute is to host six-week sessions entitled ‘Share and Grow'.

The sessions are the brainchild of Ladies, Let's Get it Together (L'GIT) founder Patrice Frith Hayward. “L'GIT is dedicated to promoting excellence through empowerment. Our aim is to accomplish this by networking with those who share our vision in the development of diamonds in the rough,” she said.

Participants do not have to commit to every session, as each session will present new topics for discussion. This evening's topic is ‘Let it Go: Time To Move On'.

The sessions will be held in the hall at Christ Church Devonshire, from 6.30pm.

Entry is $20 for each session. Prior registration is necessary. For more information send an e-mail lgit[AT] or telephone 293-8829.

Patrice Frith Hayward is the founder of L'GIT Empowerment Conference and the Share & Grow Sessions, which are set to begin this evening at Christ Church Devonshire.
