In this, the last week of summer, Body and Soul presents the last in the Summer Shape Up series. Personal trainer Jenille Smith said single leg squats are great for toning the gluteus muscles (aka your butt).Single leg squat1) Holding on to something sturdy with one arm balance on one leg2) Lift your other leg and slowly lower yourself down3) Pull yourself back up using the supporting arm purely for balance4) Repeat on each leg 12 times5) Do three sets of 12 at least 3 times a week.Visit the Gazette online to see Jenille demonstrate this exercise.
