CASE NINE:JAHMIKO LESHOREAge: 26Gang affiliation: Police gang expert Sergeant Alex Rollin told Supreme Court on June 28 this year that he considered Mr LeShore a member of 42.Date of murder: Tuesday, March 1, 2011.Time: 8.30pmLocation: Outside 9 Boundary Crescent, DevonshireWhat happened: Mr LeShore had just arrived at his heavily pregnant girlfriend’s house on his motorcycle when he was shot. As he was parking the bike, he was ambushed by a lone gunman on foot who fired at him three times. His aunt told The Royal Gazette: “He shouted to her [his girlfriend], she shouted back, and then as he parked his bike, they were waiting and they started shooting. It happened at the front door. He collapsed on the stairs outside. He was able to speak to her, and those were his last words to her.”Victim died from: Multiple gunshot wounds.Other casualties: NoneWeapon: Mr LeShore was murdered with a .40 calibre semi-automatic pistol which has been used a number of times by the Parkside gang. It was used to kill Shane Minors on December 17, 2009 and has also been linked to the murder of Kumi Harford and shooting incidents involving victims Demarlo Curtis, David Godwin and David Cox. Cox was convicted in June of killing Parkside associate Troy (Yankee) Rawlins.Description of suspects: The suspect was described as wearing a hooded top with a dark jacket, light trousers or jeans and light shoes or sneakers. Police believe the gunman was on foot but may have had access to a scooter.Alleged motive: Police believe Mr LeShore’s killing was carried out by Parkside as part of its ongoing battle with the 42 gang.Retaliatory attacks: None reported.Arrests: Three men, two aged 20 and one aged 24, were arrested on suspicion of premeditated murder at two different Devonshire residences early on March 2. Two women, aged 21 and 22, were later arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. They were all bailed pending further inquiries.Witness appeal: Detectives want to talk to anyone who was in the Boundary Crescent and Hermitage Road area on the evening of March 1 and may have seen a person or persons on a motorcycle or on foot.
