Shooters off target

Bermuda shooters found themselves outclassed on the penultimate day of action.In the 25 metres Standard Piston event, Anthony Rabain finished 14th.And in the Automatic Ball Trap Individual event, Andrew Pereira finished 15th and Terence Madeiros 16th in the 16-man field.As the Games close on Friday, Rabain competes in the Rapid Fire Individual while David Dumont wraps up his week in the 25 metre Centre Fire.Gold in the 25 metres Standard Pistol went to Peter Nordgen of Gotland, silver to Daniel Payas of Gibraltar and bronze to Bent Hyytiainen of Gotland.In the Automatic Ball Trap Individual, Juan Manuel Bagas Bosch of Menorca snared gold, Chris Jackson of Cayman the silver and Aland’s Nikas Rehn the bronze.Other gold medals went to Simon Paul Henry of St. Helena (10m Air Rifle); Bjorn Ahlby of Gotland (50 Position Smallbore Rifle); and Heloise Manasco of Gibraltar (Women’s 10m Air Rifle).
