The award, presented by the International Federation of Business and Professional Women to "the Government and People of Bermuda for improving the status of women between the years 1985 and 1995'', was originally accepted by Sen. Swan in Beijing, China, last month at the UN Fourth World Conference on Women. On hand to witness the handing over were members of the Bermuda chapter of Business and Professional Women's Association. Pictured, from left, are BPWA corresponding secretary Mrs. Velda Smith, Sen.
