Splash ‘N Boots is the children’s sensation that is returning to Bermuda to wow audiences next Saturday at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts.

Popular kindie rockers Splash ‘N Boots will perform as part of the annual Kid’s Fest production tomorrow.Named Children’s Music Group of the Year in Canada, the group is known for its “catchy melodic tunes and quirky themes” that mix well with adult music.“Splash ‘N Boots are launching their fifth album this month and the performers are looking forward to wowing fans both new and old with this sound they are bringing to Bermuda,” said event organiser O’Brian Roberts of Bermuda Magic.Tomorrow’s concert at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for Performing Arts marks the group’s third performance here.“They are so excited to be back in front of the Island’s legendary welcoming crowds,” Mr Roberts added.Husband-and-wife team Nick and Taes Adams perform as Splash and Boots respectively.Their latest CD, ‘Back in Yellow’, is an eclectic mix of rock and Euro-pop.Mrs Adams compared it to a cross between Barenaked Ladies and the Black Eyed Peas.“We’re so excited to be performing it live in Bermuda after months of studio recording,” she said.“Also, we just can’t wait to do more shows with our new band member, our dog Lily. She’s a natural.“We have been hailed as the U2 of children’s music, the Canadian Wiggles and a cross between the Barenaked Ladies and Raffi, but what stands out the most in our live show is [our] ability to tap into the energy and creativity that make families sing, dance and laugh together.“Prepare yourselves for an unforgettable interactive concert that gives Hannah Montana a run for her money and is guaranteed to bring out the inner rock star of kids and parents alike.”The Bermuda School of Music Steel Orchestra will also perform as part of tomorrow’s concert.Tickets $25, can be purchased from www.bdatix.bm, Fabulous Fashions, The Money Shop and All Wrapped Up.
