Watlington Waterworks Ltd. rose 26.81 percent ($2.95) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The utilities company traded 2,100 shares during the day.The Ascendant Group Ltd., however, fell 3.33 percent (50 cents) to $14.50 with 3,900 shares transacted.Butterfield Bank also declined 2.3 percent (three cents) to $1.27 as 6,900 shares changed hands.Overall the Index dropped 16.09 points (1.39 percent) to 1,145.76 with 14,900 shares worth BD$92,955 and 9,262 shares worth US$99,103.40 traded.The BSX Insurance Index was up nine points (0.91 percent) at 994.
