KFC authorises share buyback

Kentucky Fried Chicken (Bermuda) Ltd’s board of directors has authorised to buyback of up to 100,000 of its shares from existing shareholders.

The company said in an announcement on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) that the shares were priced advantageously and so that those purchased could be cancelled.

The BSX has also been advised by the board that it has deferred the decision to declare a dividend to shareholders.

l KFC (Bermuda) has informed the BSX that Jason Benevides has been appointed a director of the company.

He was appointed at the annual general meeting of KFC (Bermuda) on Friday, July 15.
