Butterfield Preference, Devonshire Industries end day on weak note

Bank of NT Butterfield Preference shares fell $10, or 0.8 percent, to $1,190 yesterday as five shares changed hands.

Devonshire Industries, which saw 1,000 shares change hands, fell $2, or 40 percent, to $3.

Bank of NT Butterfield was unchanged at $1.37 as 2,000 shares changed hands.

Overall, the Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed down 0.74, or 0.07 percent, to 1,144.11 at the start of an abbreviated trading week because of the Cup Match holiday.
