Butterfield Bank slipped one cent amid brisk trading activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).

A total of 180,458 shares of the bank traded as the bank closed on $1.98.

Shares of telecommunications group KeyTech Ltd fell ten cents, or 1.8 percent, to close on $5.30, as 500 shares traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 5.95 points, or 0.4 percent, to close on 1,392.71. Volume was 180,958 shares while turnover was just shy of $361,000.

The BSX Insurance Index climbed 11.78 points, or 0.8 percent, to close on 1,428.23.
