BF&M Ltd fell 1.4 percent in very light Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

The insurer dipped 25 cents to close on $17.75 as 215 shares traded.

The only other issue to trade was Butterfield Bank’s eight percent preference shares, which fell 16 cents to $1,179.15, as 39 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 1.72 points, or 0.12 percent, to close on 1,412.58. Volume was 254 shares and turnover was just shy of $50,000.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 2.98 points, or 0.2 percent, to close on 1,451.19.
