A total of 5,380 shares worth more than $121,530 today traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The biggest value sale was 80 Bank of Butterfield preference shares, which closed unchanged at $1,140.

Utilities group Ascendant saw 3,300 shares move, leaving its price also unchanged at $5.50.

And the share price of West Hamilton Holdings remained at $6 after 2,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed the day 2.07 points (0.15 per cent) down at 1,360.96.

The BSX Insurance Index stood at 1,555.27, up 0.04 points.
