Argus shares climb 10.8%

A total of 92,400 shares worth $199,718 today traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Bank of Butterfield saw 86,400 of its shares change hands, leaving its price unchanged at $1.97.

Insurance firm Argus Group had 2,000 of its shared traded, leaving the firm up 39 cents (10.8 per cent) at $3.99.

And 400 shares in insurance BF&M also sold, with its price up five cents (0.3 per cent) at $17.75.

Bermuda Aviation Services ended the day up 29 cents (9.6 per cent) at $3.30 after 100 of its shares moved.

Telecoms company KeyTech remained unchanged at $3 after 2,000 shares traded, while energy firm Ascendant Group was also unchanged at $5.40 after 1500 of its shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed at 1,354.64, up 8.6 points (0.64 per cent) and the BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.93 points (0.06 per cent) at 1,609.59.
