The Royal Gazette/BSX Index on Friday closed at 1,300.81, down 4.83 points (0.27 per cent) on the week.

Shares in Butterfield Bank ended the week one cent lower (0.5 per cent) at $1.89 after 24,400 were traded. BF&M shares also ended lower, down 14 cents 0.8 per cent) at 17.26 after 1,600 stocks changed hands.

Ascendant Group improved five cents (1 per cent) to $5.10 after 1,000 shares were traded. Shares of Bermuda Aviation Services also improved by five cents (1.6 per cent) after 300 changed hands.

Other shares traded during the week, but with no change to their closing price, were West Hamilton Holdings, KeyTech and Watlington Water.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,587.57, up 3.37 points (0.21 per cent) on the week.

The Bermuda Stock Exchanged was closed yesterday for the holiday.
