The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 13.24 points or 1.09 per cent at 1,196.11.

The sole trading of the day was 26,700 shares worth $44,322 in the Bank of Butterfield, with shares falling three cents, or 1.8 per cent, at $1.66.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 18.24 per cent, or 1.11 per cent, at 1,656.32.
