Banks edge higher on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed marginally higher at 1,166.73, up 0.66 points, or 0.06 per cent.
HSBC Holdings improved by 20 cents, or 3.07 per cent, to $6.07, after 100 shares were traded.
Also moving up was Bank of Butterfield, which improved by one cent, or 0.6 per cent, to close at $1.64, after 23,024 shares changed hands.
Losing ground was BF&M, which edged 50 cents lower, or 2.9 per cent, to close at $16.50 after 300 shares traded.
The BSX Insurance Index was down 45.51 points, or 2.73 per cent, at 1,616.05.
