The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 19.03 points, or 1.55 per cent, last week to close at 1,226.4 on Friday.

Shares of HSBC Holdings were up 80 cents, or 13.33 per cent to $6.80 after 553 traded, while Butterfield Bank stock improved five cents, or 3 per cent, to close at $1.70 after 48,502 changed hands.

KeyTech dropped 25 cents, or 8.6 per cent, to close at $2.65 after 1,900 shares traded. Also falling was Watlington Waterworks, down two cents, or 0.1 per cent, to $20.25 after 3,800 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 20.26 points, or 1.23 per cent, at 1,664.01.
